darachweb The Pipes and Drums of The Washington Memorial Pipeband

The Washington Memorial Pipe Band was founded in 1939 in Ardmore, PA, and is one of the oldest pipe bands in the country. They are based at Valley Forge Military Academy and College in Wayne, PA, thanks to the generosity of Rear Admiral V. L. Hill Jr. and the Board of Directors. The band is dedicated to bringing to the public the very best in Highland piping and drumming music for every occasion. This album was recorded live in the chapel at Valley Forge State Park in Pennsylvania.
